Choc-Nana Smoothie

A classic favourite for chocolate lovers rearing to get pumped in the morning!

This is an easy peasy recipe using our hemp smoothie mix which can be enjoyed by all, including the kiddies.

Main Ingredients

  • 20g Chocolate Hemp Smoothie Mix

  • 1/2 a banana

  • 1/2 cup of muesli or granola

  • 6 almond nuts (or nuts of your choice)

  • 1 cup of almond milk

Topping

  • Sliced bananas

  • Hemp hearts

  • Dark chocolate bits

Place all your main ingredients in your smoothie maker and blend for 30-60 seconds.

Pour into a glass and top with banana slices, hemp hearts and for the chocolate lovers, dark chocolate bits.

This is one my favourite get up and go breakfast smoothies, it's super tasty and super healthy.  Jam-packed with goodness, this smoothie will give you the energy you need for the morning and is the perfect breakfast replacement.​  Hemp is high in fibre which means you will stay fuller for longer.

Our smoothies are perfect for those on a vegan diet also.  Those on keto can keep all the hemp goodness there and swap out the banana for avocado.  100% gluten free, dairy free and proud to source all our hemp in New Zealand.

Raspberry Hemp Smoothie Bowl

Get your mojo on with this breaky smoothie bowl!

Main Ingredients

  • 20g Raspberry Hemp Smoothie Mix

  • 1/2 a banana

  • 1/2 cup of muesli or granola

  • 1 cup of almond milk

Topping

  • Sliced bananas

  • Chia seeds

  • Pumpkin seeds

  • Hemp hearts

  • Freeze-dried raspberries (optional)

Place all your main ingredients in your smoothie maker and blend for 30-60 seconds.  Add more muesli or banana for a thicker texture.

Pour into a small cereal bowl and top with goodness - more banana, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds hemp hearts, fresh or freeze-dried raspberries. 

 

And there you have it - one breakfast smoothie bowl to get your energized for the morning.

Hemp Milk

Hemp milk is a delicious, dairy-free plant-based milk.  Believe it or not, it's sooo good, it's nutty, creamy, fluffy and goes down a treat.  Trust me, you will love this recipe!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hulled hemp seeds

  • 3-4 cups water (use less water for thicker, creamier milk)

  • 1 pinch Himalayan salt

  • 1 whole date, pitted

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

For chocolate milk add 2 Tbsp of cacao.

For berry milk add 1/4 cup of fresh berries (all your favourites).

Place all your ingredients into a high speed blender or your smoothie maker and blend for 60 seconds.  Scoop out a small sample to taste test and add more dates, salt or vanilla to suit your taste buds.

Transfer to a sealed container, jar or bottle and refrigerate.  This will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.  You can also freeze this for up to a month in ice-trays.
