Hemp milk is a delicious, dairy-free plant-based milk. Believe it or not, it's sooo good, it's nutty, creamy, fluffy and goes down a treat. Trust me, you will love this recipe!
Ingredients
1/2 cup hulled hemp seeds
3-4 cups water (use less water for thicker, creamier milk)
1 pinch Himalayan salt
1 whole date, pitted
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
For chocolate milk add 2 Tbsp of cacao.
For berry milk add 1/4 cup of fresh berries (all your favourites).
Place all your ingredients into a high speed blender or your smoothie maker and blend for 60 seconds. Scoop out a small sample to taste test and add more dates, salt or vanilla to suit your taste buds.
Transfer to a sealed container, jar or bottle and refrigerate. This will keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. You can also freeze this for up to a month in ice-trays.
