Green Machine Hemp Smoothie

This yummy green machine hemp smoothie will give you the energy you need to start the day. Leafy greens and any greens are an important part of a healthy diet. Coupled with hemp protein and hemp hearts, you will be sure to get your daily intake of vitamins, minerals and fibre without the calories.
Our NZ grown Hemp Protein is the perfect base for a hemp smoothie recipe and is 70% pure protein! It's light-coloured, fluffy and tastiness means you can add any flavour base to create your own yummy smoothie recipes. The green machine hemp smoothie recipe is one of my favourites.
Here's the recipe:-
30g Hemp Up Hemp Protein
1 Tbsp (heaped or 30g) of Hemp Up Premium Hemp Hearts
1 tsp green spirulina powder
1 small handful of spinach leaves
1/2 avocado (the secret to giving your smoothie some thickness)
feijoa (optional when in season)
a few sprigs of mint leaves (optional)
1-1/1/2 cups of almond milk or your favourite liquid.
Whiz up for 30-60 seconds, pour and add a few more hemp hearts!
This delicious hemp smoothie will give you on average over 30g of protein! Our Hemp Protein contains 20.1g protein per 30g and the hemp hearts 9.39g per 30g - that's a great amount of your daily protein needs right there! Low in sugar and calories and full of vitamins and fibre, this hemp smoothie will definitely be a great addition to your eating regime to keep you happy and healthy.
