Doesn't this look just delishi-mo! Another blue spirulina hemp recipe that I'd love to share with you all. I'm just loving working with blue spirulina and the creating hemp recipes, I have so many ideas so watch this space.
This blue spirulina hemp smoothie recipe is easy on the palette and just delightful to look at! Blue spirulina is pretty much "tasteless" which means you can combine this amazing superfood with just about any other foods and flavours. I'm honestly hooked on the blue!
Blue spirulina is a powerful antioxidant and has loads of benefits, some similar to hemp. It's perfect for vegan diets, supports immunity, contains all essential amino acids and protein and is a good source of Vitamin B! There's so many more benefits so as I introduce more hemp and spirulina smoothie recipes, I will share this information (a bit and a time as not to overwhelm you).
So now for the recipe!
Blue Spirulina Smoothie Bowl
1 tsp Blue Spirulina
1/2 Avocado
1 Tbsp dessicated coconut
1 Tbsp Hemp Up Premium Hemp Hearts
4-6 Almonds
1 Tbsp maple syrup - optional (if you're a sweet tooth like me, it's a must-have)
400 ml almond milk
Combine into your smoothie maker and whiz up!! Pour into your bowl and then add toppings of your choice.
Toppings for your Spirulina and Hemp Smoothie Bowl
Get creative here and top your blue spirulina hemp smoothie bowl with a variety of goodies (whatever you can find in your fridge and pantry) - I've used:-
Almonds
Pumpkin Seeds
Coconut shreds
Blueberries
Oats
